The
realNHmath project was developed in 2004 as a way to support
parents and teachers of elementary-aged children in their
quest to make mathematics more meaningful and fun. As children
develop an understanding that math is an integral part of
everyday life, they may find less reason to ask, “Why
do I need to know this?”
An
extensive search for New Hampshire educational enrichment
opportunities was undertaken. This project is a compilation
of NH-based resources as well as a collection of the best
on-line references and games that were found. Math extends
far beyond the classroom walls!
